Today early in the morning “VVA-Saracens Moscow region” went to Ireland where from August 9 to August 10 will pass the World Cup on rugby-7 among club teams – Limerick World Club Sevens.
On the eve of departure the head coach “VVA-Saracens Moscow region” on “seven” Andrey Sorokin gave a comment to the team press service:
- Special preparation for tournament wasn’t. The part of players was involved on August 2 in a Russian national team match against Zimbabwe, the part of players – took part in a today’s match against “Slava”. Igor Klyuchnikov, Alexander Yanyushkin, Mikhail Babayev – played both for the national team and for club.
Unfortunately, because of injuries, Nikolay Goroshilov, Ilya Babayev and Sergey Trishin who could strengthen team won’t be able to take part in tournament.
“VVA-Saracens Moscow region” got group C where will play with the Daveta (Fiji), San Francisco and Munster teams.
The group A included Auckland, New York, Vodacom Bulls and Saracens. In group B – NSW Waratahs, Vancouver Bears, DHL Western Province and Stade Francais.
